Crispy chicken fajitas

Crispy chicken strips with sour cream, juicy tomatoes, crunchy lettuce and our Old El Paso Thick ‘n’ Chunky Salsa.

25 minutes.Mild.Serves 4.

Ingredients

1 x Old El Paso Oven Baked Crispy Chicken Fajitas Dinner Kit
500g chicken breast
1 x Lettuce
Tomatoes, chopped
Sour cream to serve
Vegetable Oil

Kit contains: 1 x pack of 8 Old El Paso Soft Flour Tortillas, 1 x Old El Paso Crispy Crumb Seasoning Mix, 1 x Old El Paso Mild Original Salsa, 1x Old El Paso Shaker Bag

Instructions

1. Pre-heat oven to 225°C, (205°C for fan assisted ovens), gas mark 7.

2. Slice the chicken into thin strips

3. Get your Old El Paso Shaker Bag ready and chuck in the chicken, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and the Old El Paso Crispy Crumb Seasoning Mix.

4. Give it a good shake until the strips of chicken are nicely coated

5. Spread the strips of coated chicken evenly on a baking tray and get in the oven.

6. Bake for 18 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and deliciously crispy.

7. To warm the Old El Paso Soft Flour Tortillas pierce the packaging and microwave on full power for 35-40 seconds (cooking time may vary depending on microwave). To heat in the oven, remove packaging, separate tortillas and wrap in foil. 10 minutes at 200°C (180°C for fan assisted ovens), gas mark 4 should do it. Keep them covered and warm until ready to serve.

Make it your way

Serve straight from the oven for maximum crispiness! Arrange the crispy chicken on the warm flour tortillas and spoon over smooth and cooling sour cream, juicy tomatoes, crunchy lettuce and our Old El Paso Mild Original Salsa. Wrap ‘em up and enjoy!
