Ingredients

25ml tequila ‘gold’
5ml grenadine
50ml orange juice
1 x lime, juiced
Ice cubes

Instructions

1. Take a tall glass and throw in a few ice cubes, then pour in the grenadine (this is an alcoholic cordial made from pomegranates that gives drink its sunrise colouring!)

2. Grab a cocktail shaker and pour in the tequila, orange juice and freshly squeezed lime juice, then add a handful of ice cubes and shake really well… just make sure the lid is on!

Tip the tequila and juice mix over the iced grenadine to and enjoy the vibrant layered tastes and colours of your classic sunrise cocktail!

Cook’s tips

To make a non-alcoholic version that’s just as colourful, try blackcurrant cordial instead of grenadine, and swap tequila for pineapple juice… the kids will love it!
